I've got a complete 1989 kx250 that I picked up a while back was going to restore. I've got way too many other projects going on at the moment so I'm considering parting it out.
The bike ran until the big end bearing seized. The top end is in good shape and I have a brand new wiseco std bore piston and rings. Cylinder measures 67.40 mm and the power valves work smoothly. Cases and tranny are all good, just need a new rod kit and bearings.
Everything else is there besides the plastics which were rattle canned and are probably not useable unless your looking for a cruddy set. The 1989 only low boy tank is in fair condition with no leaks, but does have some gouges that would need to be worked out.
Let me know if anybody is interested in any parts and we can discuss prices. I can provide specific pics upon request and will get some general pics up soon.
I would also consider selling it whole if there is interest.
