Had someone email me about making a 1:1 replica of the Pro Circuit kx125/250 linkage for him.

I have a new PC linkage I can send to Phil Denton Engineering for him to measure and replicate, he estimates the cost being right around $500 usd, this does not include bearings or anodizing(both of those will be up to you to have done). attached is some of the linkages he's made for old cr's:

As you can see his work is second-to-none and I have 100% confidence he can do this perfectly.

He also made me some custom hollow Ti Bolts for the Linkage as seen below, these are all but impossible to find/buy for the kx's, having them made was my only option, they would be in the ballpark of $200.

Just putting out the feelers right now to see if there is any interest in this, as I don't really wanna go through the work to make one replica linkage system.

You would need to pay in full up front- no refunds once the order is placed, and supply me an email that I can have on file to keep you updated on the progress. Not sure how long it would take yet(my bolts took about 4 months because of the amount of work he had lined up in front of me) but that would be told before the order was placed.

Feel free to PM me or post on here with questions. Looking to get 10 people interested/committed.

If you do the center piece you need the correct arm, there were 2 different linkages available for those bikes. 1 was the full system with a 154mm arm, and the other was just the arm that was 152mm. So unless someone sepersted the 2 and sold just the arm to you, it wouldn't work very good just adding the center piece.

I can mark you down for a set of Ti Bolts for sure.

I’d be interested in the linkage and TI bolts also.

By Linkage you mean the whole thing? I'm not going to do the shorter "dogbone-only" style. This will be the full Linkage.

Yes the complete linkage since I will never find an original full PC one for sale ever.

Looks like we are close to 10! I'll be making a post around mid-July about getting this done. I need the linkage on the bike for a couple races until then.

Bump!

A little later ham originally planned, but I am looking to get this project rolling soon. Shoot me a PM on here if interested and what exactly you'd want.

The options are as follows:
-ONLY Ti linkage Bolts
-ONLY Complete linkage/knuckle(no bearings or anodizing.)
-BOTH Complete linkage and Ti Bolts

If you want me to do the bearings/seals and/or anodizing, that can be arranged at your cost(including parts, to/from shipping, and anodizing cost, and whatever other cost may be associated with it).

By the looks of it 13 people said yes to the Poll plus a few more from Facebook, so please get ahold of me as this will be a one-time order.

If you prefer to text/cal, shoot me a PM and we can exchange contact info via phone or e-mail that way as I don't want it posted publicly.

Thanks!

I spoke to Clayton over at TrickEngineering and he was talking about replicating the set he has. Not sure if this has ever happened but I know he’s more than capable of making a set.

He was for sure planning to at one point, I had talked to him as well. Hoping he can do it, I’d like to have a raw billet setup instead of the PC one to be honest.

He can certainly make it happen! He currently has a couple of sets as reference so hopefully we can get something going.

No never actually got any payment from anyone. Would still be an option, I still have the linkage, but it needs to be a larger order.
