Modify the Freeride E-XC?

Has anyone done any mods to the E-XC?

I have a friend who rides one at our enduro-track and there are some parts of it that are just simply not good enough.

Mainly the brakes. He told me the brakes was the same as on the 85 SX, but looking at pictures that doesn't seem right. (It has the 85 brake pads).

Does anyone know if there are other (preferably larger) brake calipers that fit?

All sort of modifications would be interesting to hear about.

I think oversized kit fitting the sx85 would fit? Forks and wheels are SX85.

He just imported an Alta instead so the question is void ;P (The containter left the US the same week the company halted productions...)

I know question is void, but for anyone else thinking...John Howerton on the Youtubed is a fantastic source of info on the Freeride!, check him out its really helping me make a decision on one.

(But I would buy an Alta right now if there was one for sale in the U.K!!!).
