It all depends on battery chemistry. Should have no problem getting 200+ cycles out of Lipo batteries.

the different cell types matter too. Alta is using cylindrical cells which might sacrifice a small amount of weight and energy due to their geometryconstraints, they are more reliable and can be cooled better. Also to note, tesla uses the same theory of cylindrical cells and their batteries seem to be performing very well with only a 5% loss in capacity after 200,000 miles
