2001 KTM SX Pro JR.
Came with an older "parts bike" (not pictured) that will be useless except for poaching bolts.

I am not sure at this point, but I may do one with a hub motor/no chain and the other with a normal mounted motor and chain.

Definitely going to build the Polini first. It's in better shape and the KTM looks like a chopper with the front wheel too far out front. I might not even build the KTM unless a newer steeper front end can be found to work.

There is a father out there somewhere that did a hub motor conversion for his daughters trials bike. I think it worked out pretty well. If I can find a link I will post it here for you.

Good luck with the swap!

I think the hub motor is going into the KTM if I can find one with a wide enough axle. I don't like the angle of the forks on the older KTM.

Both bikes are near impossible to get plastic for.
wheel bearings and swingarm bushings/bearings are available.

Brake cables are simple to rig if they are hard to find. Not sure about pads/shoes yet.

The SSR ebike is $700, so I figure for about the same price I can build the kids better bikes.
The SSR only has 2 advantages with hydraulic brakes and the fact that its all new and ready to roll.
