Just had my sons 125 ktm suspension done by Charlie Constanzo - can't say I'm impressed by his $1250 bill which wasn't quoted before doing the work and I have to find the money by tomorrow as my son is racing this weekend . And then to hear he is twice the price of anyone else . Very disappointed. We have no financial backing and I am between a rock and a hard place . Very disappointed

Sounds like an issue for the department of fair trading, or something along those lines. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by posting this in the bike build thread.

No estimates, or phone calls before work was performed? Most suspension companies call and give you the price before they start the job.
