Yamaha yz 450f 08 light build (Finished)

Picked up this nice 2008 450f. Not got much planned just a fresh look,

Got new ODI grips new graphics new forks seals but one of the out tube got a little dent in it was it’s stuck but hopefully my mate can press it out with a hydraulic press then I hope I’ll just need a outer tube.

Got the new plastic but the guy sent me and 2010 250 🙈 that should be swapped over today though 👌🏻 New twist throttle as I crashed it and snapped it in half 😂

Yeah just need to get the tube off see what the damage is but think I’ll have to get a new one if it’s dented

I picked up a set for good 250r front forks and made a start on the custom vinyl.

Now have a problem with the front forks 🙈 They fit but the bracket on the caliper is to big ☹️ Don’t know if I can just do a swap for a 250f caliper bracket and it would fit

So finally after month if put and 450 and 250 fork together and fitted it. Works a dream and riding good. New plastics and other bits to but on then hopefully done

Ordered some new fork covers as I had new plastics, got the graphics on and add my sign in the front as it looked to plan for me

Well iv finally got the bike back together was a bit of a pain as the new rear mud guard was wrong so had to use the old one but wasn’t so bad as it was still in good condition. And got my a new bike stand to help 👍🏻 Still got a few little bits to do

Finished the bike off got the radiator cover on and a few little bits to finish it off 👍🏻

They’re good bikes! You can swap the caliper mount brackets to fit the forks but it looks like you figured it out
I remember j law crushing it at Daytona on that bike

I ended up getting another tube from a 250f as they are the same
