When changing the map make sure to change the “rpm” values too.

Very nice build. I have 18 fc450 with cone valves and ive rode a friends 18 yz450f a couple of times. I have to agree with you. For whatever reason it just turns in alot better then my husqvarna. It has revalved suspension and forks are really good for a production fork. The motor has crazy power down low. So much torque.

Small update. I got the "a kit" shockshaft. If i understand it right, the only difference between a kit shock and mine is now the shockbody coating and the adjusters?

I'll ride it tomorrow and post a short ride report on it.

I may be going mad but that map looks different to the ones I can see on MXA. I 'think' the TH and R/min need adjusting?

When I got mine wrong my bike was a right pig to ride!! I thought I hated the TP map so took it straight out and now I need re test with the correct settings.

Ive just sent my handlebar mounts out to have 5mm machined off and my suspension is out being valved.

looking forward to riding it when its all done.

Okay so i spent only an hour on the track but the shock "upgrade" was a very positive thing.

The track was dry as hell but i got way better traction compared to the last time i rode at the same track. My laptime dropped from 1.22 to 1.21 even though the track was in worse condition.

Was it down to getting the suspension serviced after 15 hours of riding with them or did the shock shaft have an impact? I think it was a combination. The shock action felt smoother than with the stock shaft, i guess that was the result of the DLC coating?

So I could not get 'comfortable' on my bike. Suspension seemed to go dead mid stroke and on straight sided bumps shook me to pieces.

I've put a the lower bar on.
The suspension has been valved to ease the mid stroke. Added some A kit spring mounts. Up one on the rear spring I'm 200lbs.
Added some titanium pegs as my boots flew off the standard pegs a few times.
Also running a set of Talon GP wheels.

The biggest change was obviously the revalve and boy is the bike better now. Confidence inspiring is what I would call it and at the first race back absolutely loved the bike and better results followed.

Now interested in these 19 updated wheel spacers? also does anyone know which GUTS seat foam Keefer had upgrade too? Meduim or Hard? He mentioned 16% harder but that doesn't equate to their web site.

Waiting on my skid plate and Hinson cover now Smile

Yeah i ordered a set of Twenty Ti pegs, they should arrive on Monday. I have to get a new seat foam too. Either the 2019 stock foam or a firmer GUTS foam.

My stock seat is clapped out... really, really soft. Almost like a couch.

I am putting in a Hinson clutch and switching back to a semi-syn oil (yamalube) this week.

Twenty Ti pegs are great I managed to score a pair for £40. Haven't had my foot slip of once and surprisingly they haven't really ripped my soles apart either, which was one of my biggest worries. Might have to spash out and get a 19 250 Woohoo

That is a relieve! What boots do you run? I use Tech 10 and the Tech 10 soles aren't known for their longevity...

I run the old shape tech 10s brought them used with about 30hours wear on standard pegs and barely worn on the soles. I have done about 10hours in them on the Ti pegs and they have barely worn. So they might of changed the material slightly for the newer ones if your running those. I'll try post a picture tonight of the soles for you after work if i remember.

27 hours. I haven't had any big issues.

The only things that i have noticed is that bolts tend to come loose on the plastics etc more than on my KTMs. That is basically my only "issue" or "problem" that i have had.
