Thanks for all the compliments guys. Once again didn’t get much done tonight Sad Had to spend a few hours after my regular job helping get things ready at the local motocross track I work at. First open ride day is this weekend so we’re super busy getting everything ready to go since the weather is finally allowing us to be outside! Anyways, used the hot water & bleach scrub on my pipe and then wiped it down with WD40. Looks amazing now. Thanks for the tip! Also scrubbed the radiators with scotch brite and then 2000 grit sand paper and a quick coat of metal polish and cleaned the plastic guards quick.

Finally!! Took off work a bit early to get some things done around the house so I’d have more bike time. Here’s what I’ve done so far today

Wanted to double check my cylinder head so did a squish test with the reccomended soder wire from R&B designs. Last summer I sent the head to Eric Gorr for some work and after reading reviews on here I was a little skeptic about his work. After the squish test it was right on the money.

Got her fired up today!! Man what a great feeling that is! Finished my first heat cycle. Now it’s time to head inside to eat and watch some Supercross while the bike cools down.
Thought I had a great spot for my hour meter until I turned the bars and it hit the forksAngry
Relocated it to the top triple clamp. Wanted it visible but yet out of the way

You could cut it into the barpad? That’s what I do if I’m not using a set of twinwalls on the bike.

Got to put some seat time on the bike finally. Went to the local track on Sunday. Rode like crap but I was over thinking everything about the bike. It always takes me a few rides to get back in the swing of things.
And of course she needed a bath

On Friday I called D’Cor Visuals and got my new graphics ordered! Monday afternoon they sent me this proof. Can’t wait to get these on

UFO re-style & the rear also
Did you need to drill holes in that or does the front fender mount right up?

No drilling required. Bolts right up

Here’s some updates pictures for you guys. Sorry it’s been awhile since I last checked in. Stripped the old graphics off (ordered new shrouds) and got the new ones one. Also picked up a set of Torc1 Racing footpegs! I would say it’s “finished” but I know I’ll eventually find something else to change. Anyways, here it is “finished”. Lol

Looks good. I am finally putting my 04 together that I have had for a year. It needed the crank rebuilt when I bought it. It has been sitting stripped to the frame since the week I bought it. I put the engine together last night and can't wait to get to fire it up

Thanks! I wasn’t worried about the crank. I meticulously cleaned it and check it for play. All was good and the bearings spun great.

Got a new seat cover on the way. I’m too OCD and couldn’t stand having a N-Style seat with D’Cor graphics lol

Do you remember what your clearance was when you did the soder test? .050” ish I assume?
Do you have a pic of the dome? I heard he cuts a weird shape / angle on them?
Did you jet down afterward?

Bike looks great Smile

I'm jealous of the bike and the garage. haha. nice build. anything with a works pipe looks way better than without. I like all the other anodized and cerakote goodies as well!
