I have 3 torn down to the frame and 85 percent parts purchased, about $5000 invested. It is my busy time of the year and now barely 30 minutes a week to work on them. Its easy to purchase stuff but man the hours and hours of elbow grease. Doing my own sand and vapor blasting and painting. Radiator straightening and aluminum weld repair. The joy of completion is great. Oh, I would like to ride my track now that the weather is nice. Two 1994 CR 250s and a Team Peak 1992 CR125 and I have three other Hondas completed.

I keep telling myself I need solid progress on my 95 CR250 build before I start any others. Lol.

And post pics of your bikes.

My dad and I currently have 7 evo bikes torn apart and being rebuilt. Were having a hard time finishing one before we start on another.

I keep it to one build at at a time while maintaining the others I have at the same time.
But the night before going riding can really add up with all the checking over, oil changes, filter cleaning, etc. Luckily we can only carry 5 out of the 8.

Very easy to get carried away with builds & building bikes. I never have more than 2 going and really try to keep it at 1 at a time. With that said, before I even finish whatever I”m working on, I”m on the lookout for my next build! All the while maintaining current race bikes.....I have always enjoyed working on my bikes, the builds certainly test your patience at times, but always worth it when they are done...Tip: I keep a clip board with all notes pertaining to each bike build, so If I take some time off from the build I can come back to where I left off.....I have short term memory loss...

Damn near everything I own is in a state of disrepair. Busy with too many other work and home related projects to even give consideration to any of them. Some just need a little to finish and be race ready, others are major projects. A dozen plus...Blush

I've got four on the go at the moment. 08 RM125 rebuild, 06 CR125 restoration, 08 YFZ450 (yes a quad) and a 2007 YZ250F Cairoli replica. cairoli bike is a really long term project tho some really hard to find parts.

Currently I have an 88 rm250, 06 rm250, and a 13 ktm 200sx projects as bare frames right now, 88 cr250 waiting in the wings, and a nearly finished 82 cr480. Also, a nearly complete 98 rm250 semi McGrath replica, just need to cerakote the hubs and anodize the rims gold.
