hi guys. Just want your opinions on a carb to get for a 2002 honda cr 250. Check out the pic. Or if you have any other sugestions carry on.Photo

Yes, if I’m not mistaken that’s the standard length screw top PWK from the 2000 CR250R. It will fit and there’s info about tuning it on here as well as Thumpertalk. Good price too.

JD jetting also sells these with their jet kit, but for your price you could probably buy the carb and jet kit separately for what you’d pay direct from them.

The only word of caution is that if your airboot and/or reed block rubber boot are hardened and/or tired, find replacements as the Keihin isn’t an exact fit and you may get fitment issues with a hardened manifold (in new condition the boots will accomdate the carb just fine).

Oh, and if you find anyone who has a new reed side boot for sale could you pass it along? I had to swap to an 03 reed block and boot because the 03 was the only NOS I could find.

FYI they are £200 inc vat from Allen's Performance. With postage that will cost more buying from the States, plus import duty on top.
