Got my sandblasting cabinet built. And I blasted the clutch cover.

Rad valve installed, carb clean and detailed a bit. I planned on doing a full engine rebuild but this bike has about 2 hours on it tops, so I'm going to run it as is for now. Phase 2 of this build will be a fire breather engine.

How was dealing with lightspeed? i heard they were out of stock on most stuff. I want to get some things for my bike.
I just picked up a bunch of Black Friday stuff from works connection for my yz, as well as a dep pipe and silencer.

I just picked up a bunch of Black Friday stuff from works connection for my yz, as well as a dep pipe and silencer.
I got the light speed parts from a fellow vitard. He hooked it up. I have a light speed rear caliper guard if your interested.
I almost orderd a dep myself but I blew the pipe budget on a PC. Maybe after I trash this one I'll try the dep.

Thanks man! The dogs name is Sandy.
So its a sandy blasting cabinet.! This dog is in training to become a therapy dog. My wife is going to take her to kids hospitals and other places that people could use a feel good smile.

Maybe after the 1st of the year, I'm tapped out on budget for now. I'm thinking of keeping most of my new parts off until I pick up other stuff like wheels and graphics. That way it will all look fresh.

Can't wait to see this thing in the sun!

Hoooolllllyyyt shitballs!!! Hands down the best looking yz250 oem blue color build ive ever seen!!! Your choice in graphics is flawless for this bike as well.

Only bike I can even say close in competition are the white mid to late 80s replica looking bikes made out of newer style yz’s those are cool as shit to especiallywhen they drop it like its hot donning a red seat cover

They were supposed to make that run in September! I've emailed and emailed them about it. Even offerd to pay in advance. Oh well. I would probably would fall and bust one the first 5 minutes anyway!

Stage 2 has begun.! It will be slow, but it's here.
Got an extra cylinder and I started a bit of port work. Just the tip of the iceberg really.

I've been following the build since I found it a few months back. All I have to say is awesome work! I really like how you kept a more traditional "factory" look to it. I think too many builds go overboard with the graphics, I prefer the cleaner look like this.

About lightspeed, my first order with them for a fork lug guard went great. I tried to order the rear caliper air duct back in May of 2016 and they said it was on backorder until their next run. I was fine with that as, it's not like I need it to ride. Everytime I've called them since they still say they're going to make them soon and will call me before charging towards my order. It's still open a year and a half later... I haven't canceled just because at this point it's almost laughable, if you're not going to make anymore then contact me and cancel the order and I'll have no problem.

Sorry for the off topic rant, I'll go back to drooling over your bike!

Edit: Forgot to add I love the way the clutch cover came out blasted, might have to try that instead of repainting.
