So a few months back I purchased a hold over 2017 TE 250 Husky, I ended up getting a pretty good deal on it at right at $8000 out the door.

I now have a whole 10 hours on the bike, I know it's time for a new one. My wife and I just had our first child and I haven't had much time to ride lately. But even so, I did find time to do a few enduros and GP's on the bike.
For the 2019 race season I plan on racing a local GP series. This will make it much easier for my wife and son to go to the races and actually see the racing, plus I can race my vintage Husky in the morning and my TE in the afternoon.
So since I plan on racing the GP series I'm going to try to get a little more pep out of the bike. In stock form the engine is super smooth and has a ton of chugging power. I am now installing a TC head and CDI. I'm hoping this will give the bike more of a hit. I also kept the mx tank off my TC 125, it will be finding a new home on the TE. I think the bike will look pretty cool with lights and and small tank.

I think it all depends on what type of riding you plan on doing. The TC CDI was a bit much in the tight technical stuff that I normally ride, but I will use it when I race the wider open GP's. My bike with the TC head and CDI reminded me alot of my 2016 TC125, but just a lot more power.
I haven't been able to race the bike much with work and the kid taking up the majority of my time. I was able to help the local club, ADR, put on a national enduro and I raced a local "Family Enduro" which are like mini sprint enduros.
Pit Row
I think this turned out pretty sweet. There are a couple things I would change with the graphics (darker yellow backgrounds and gold on the shourds) but I think it looks killer.
