I bought a new shock shaft and it is being coated also.
Got ahold of guts and they responded no plans for Phantom foam.
First race for this bike in Two weeks at one of my favorite tracks. The Oatfield in Turlock Cal.

Where did you get them from as none of my places have them yet Sad
Where they a lot lighter than stock?
My FB36’s were noticeably lighter than my EVO’s to the tune of a 1/2 lb!

Revzilla had them in stock.
Only took a couple days to get them.
I should have weighed them before putting them on.
I had the KTM bend fat bars on the bike before putting g these on.

Are you picky about bars? I’d like to try these but I’m worried they’ll be too stiff. I like a lot of flex, a la pro taper evo

Usually flex isn’t my concern more about bend being tall.
Reading on these it looks like they keep the good flex of the Evos.
I am riding tomorrow afternoon and will post something up.

Revzilla is the most underrated supplier. Their prices are great, they price match, and they stock a lot. Killer bike dude. Makes me wanna remove the listing for my ‘21.

You mentioned the Evos being flexible. More so than countries? Interesting. Tell me more, I’m trying to sort an issue out with bars now.

Yeah, assuming you mean contours, I think they’re noticeably better. I don’t notice the flex per se, but there’s less vibration transmission and less jolt from impacts. I can only attribute it to the thinner wall thickness, and more flex.

No worries, I weighed them at 593g. They were only about 60g lighter than the EVO’s. I was really looking for more since the new Renthals were 227g lighter than EVO’s. I just posted a lot of the different weights of various bars on my yz250 build thread as well so the info was handy 😎

Adding a few trinkets and some carbon fiber
The AKit shock in the bazar is tempting

Here is the carbon tank cover mounted.
The fit was perfect no issues at all.

How do you like the bike. I’m deciding a yz250 or a kx450 at the moment and man. After seeing this. A yz250 sounds really good Smile )). 👍

I just came of a 2019 kx450 and was planning on grabbing an SR when I flipped over to the YZ.
I only have a couple rides in and still adjusting to the bike.
This Saturday I should get a ton of laps in but know this was a good move.

Per Keefer these actually have a bit more flex then the evo.
