Picked up a very clean '03 CR250 about 3 weeks ago! Currently stripped the whole entire bike and we are off to the races! Here are a couple key points we are going to do with this build

- Magura Hydraulic Clutch
- Carbon Tank
- Suspension Coatings
- Full Ti hardware
- Not doing a restyle kit. Most likey will have an updated front end
- Dubya wheelset
-Carbon Talon Hubs
-A60's
- Cerakote by P2 Coatings

Any suggestions for Triple clamps? I read some people using 2010-13 CRF clamps while retaining the CR suspension. Would love to go with some X-Trig clamps. If not going to run Kite Clamps

Thank you for committing to no restyle kit. I have the same bike I'm rebuilding....can't wait to relish in the inspiration soon to come!

Period correct front end looks good with the Cycra stadium plate.

I really do applaud Polisport for their efforts in reviving the legacy two strokes but I think the stock CR plastics are very clean. I didn't think about the stadium plate, that would look good. I work on these builds with my buddy Dan and we both thought a vented front # plate would be sick too. Vented Cycra stadium plate FTW

So who won the RM 125?
As I had mentioned in the RM topic, we were able to get in contact with the winner. Their is an eligibility process we do have to go through with the winner (18 years old, legal US resident, etc.). We will be making the announcement either today or tomorrow. As soon as all of the t's are crossed and i's are dotted. Thank you.

Whatever clamps you go with, I'd recommend NOT getting solid bar mounts. The reduction in vibration is very noticeable with even the stock clamps.

I definitely think the stock plastics with an updated front end looks much better than the Polisport restyle kit. Can't wait to see the bike.

Thanks! I wanted to appeal to the core Honda pure-ests and I love the red/dark red concept. Seat is red/red/red. Only thing we might change are the side panel plastic color, and possibly the fork guard color.
