I've been riding 2 strokes for the last 6 years, a combination of yz250's, a cr250, and 250sx's. I never really gelled with my 17 250sx, and really felt better on my buddies 350sxf, so I planned on getting one of those, but couldn't find a buyer for my sx, and I got this offered on trade, so I'll give it a go.
Bike was pretty clean when I got it, but I always go completely through any used bike that I buy. I had several goodies already on hand, Guts phantom seat foam, orange airbox, graphics, etc. I upgraded the forks with wp closed chamber internals, and jbi pro perches, had the shock set up for me, and added a newer model shock reservoir and piston.
I originally didn't plan to powdercoat the frame, but when I removed the skid plate, there was a good bit of paint wear, so I figured what the heck, weather was terrible at the time, so might as well.
I've had a couple rides on it so far, and pretty happy with it, hopefully that will continue.

Anything in particular on why you didn't gel with the 250SX?
Anyways, build looks nice. Have fun on it!
Glad to hear that the 300 kit is doing the job for you. Have fun with your TC as well!
It's awesome that you still have my old CR! It's always good to see one of my old bikes get a great home. Post up a picture of that beast in this thread!
