Hey, just saying hi to everyone here
I’m from the Isle of Wight, UK
recently bought a 2010 Honda crf250r off my brother
Fuel injected one, I’ve ridden it 4 times locally at some mates small tracks (super muddy every time!) but I’m yet to pop my full sized track cherry!
I’ll post some pictures of my bike soon, I’m interested to know if you guys can help me by telling me which parts aren’t standard on the bike.
Also if there’s anything on it that’s not necessary!??
I’ve already noticed the little plastic cover over the front sprocket seems to just collect stones in it every time!!
But yeah, what’s up dudes?

At a quick glance the upgrades I see are: triple clamps, bars, shifter and rad pipes. Not sure if that steering stabilizer is oem or not as well.

Sweet, thanks for your input man! It’s all helpful (even if I had to google what a triple clamp was) hehe!
I’m all up for learning!!
Can’t wait to get on mainland England to ride a proper track too

Thanks for that my dude, sounds like it’s had a few modifications then... I guess it’s all for the better too??
I just love riding it so much!
That crf looks really nice with the minimalist stickers!

Also I need to make myself a paddock stand like that, pain in the ass not having one

Yeah my bud also has a 2011 250r but his is stock

Thanks again for the help guys, really appreciate it

Is that a stock exhaust with "carbon fiber" vinyl wrapped around the muffler? Also, those footpegs are beautiful and definitely not oem!

Hey dude, yeah I believe it is? I’m thinking of taking the carbon off, because there’s a big dent in the can. So I’d like to pull that out and clean it up silver again!

Oh sweet, I thought they looked a bit chunky! They are very comfortable too being a bit bigger

Thanks for your input my man!

I have repaired exhaust mufflers before it is not hard to do.
I put a round tube in the vice and lightly tapped around the dent until it was out.

Sweet thanks for the tip man!

I removed the vinyl wrap earlier this morning and it revealed a nasty crack that has been leaking too! (There was a split in the wrap on this area)

So might have to be a case of a replacement slip on?

You can repair it but is it worth it? I think a used slip on for these bikes are not that hard to find.
2010-2013 should fit.

Thanks again dude, my bud happens to have a 2011 one so fingers crossed he will sell it to me!

Did a Vin plate check yesterday... turns out it’s 2011, not 2010.... if that’s any difference?

Going through the motions of making it road legal for daytime use in the UK… Isle of Wight has a lot of trails/green lanes so looking forward to some play time
