Need help bad

I have a 2001 cr125 and I was in the middle of a carb swap from a stock carb to a Keihin 38mm air Stryker. As I was installing it I ran into a huge problem. It won’t fit on the reeds side. The rubber boot is to small. I’ve been searching and searching for a oversized boot but I have had no luck. Can anyone help me with this problem? Where can I find the right intake boot I need to do the swap???

Try boiling the rubber boots in hot water to loosen it up. If not, Boyesen Rad valve comes with a universal boot that will fit.

Use a heat gun. We put a 02 carb on my buddies 01 and this it what we did and it worked perfectly.

+1 We used heath gun with my brothers -02 CR250 when we did Keihin swap and it worked great

I actually used a dremel tool to grind out the inside of the intake boot so the carb would fit. Turned out just fine. I never though about heating it.
