This is where it all starts, a brand new 0 hour 2017 CRF250R rolling chassis.

I will be using a TSR conversion kit.

Special thanks to Gary Collins for selling me this brand new roller.

Guess working on this bike and keeping you informed is more important than this mans personal life and priorities?

Damn right, I’m waiting for him to overtake me with his project. Right now I make the mistakes and then he learns from me how not to do it!

Beautiful. It is necessary to normalize an aluminum frame after welding on it?

Thought I recognised those hands Smile

Nice build Gavin. Found an old video just yesterday riding your previous build.
What are your plans for the suspension?

Hey D, well picked up, my hands are a dead giveaway Wink . You won’t believe it but i bought Justin’s K-Tech air to spring kit from Michel back home, so yes will be fitting that.

Nice one on the suspension. Night and day difference to the SFF.

Are you removing the upper engine hanger points from the frame?

The TSR conversion Kit has a coil mount that bolts to that, and I will see if I can mount the Vortex CDI on the other side to optimise accessibility to change the various maps with ease.

Where did you get the pipe springs? Those are nice. I've been trying to find some that don't turn to rust after the first muddy race and those look like they might fit the bill.
