I bought the bike early December and basically spent the winter going through it and changing a few things to my liking. I cant wait to get her dirty!

I went with some new Excels built from Rims Plus Wheels

Sweet Dirt tricks sprocket

I added a full Yoshi system

Decided on a Rekluse Torq drive clutch package with cover

Arc brake and clutch assembly,Mika bars and riser

I snuck in a Honda hpsd damper

Some other goodies ..TOYKO Mods remapped Ecu,Works Connection radiator braces,Pro Pegs,Era Moto graphics,Motseat, factory connection springs front and back.

This only happens once..

As soon as it gets a bit warmer here its on...

Yoshi was left just as it came. Haven’t tried it on mine but my sons bike is the same and it worked great.
The Dunlop isn’t sticker . Actually just used tire pens .

When I picked up a 20 WE one of the parts guy at the dealer also suggested I take out the inserts to give the engine more power.
At least on the 450 it doesn’t need more power so I left them in. Does it actually make that much of a difference or does it give the exhaust a different tone ?
Any data to back it up like a dyno run ?

OP - That is a good looking bike. Post a ride report when you’re able.

I took my inserts out, but its a 2015 450 . Power is strong, maybe a little louder. Power was pretty close also.

The inserts produce a better bottom end power and make the bike quieter. Taking the insert out removes back pressure in the can which makes it have more top end feel and more noise. Keep it in and tune The bike

Beautiful bike. The 250 with the current generation frame is probably so much fun to ride.

+1, I talked to Yosh and best dyno results are with how the product is delivered.

I have run two 250f’s on the dyno with and without the inserts. The first one was back in -06 a rmz 250. Loss 0.1hp with the insert but gained 0.1nm. And When removed it was the opposite. So a whole LOT of extra sound for no extra power.

The second was a 15 crf250, no gains at all when i removed the inserts on the dyno, with a akrapovic exhaust.
