I have a couple of shroud decals from Honda of Troy, given to me by them in 1994 when I visited their shop. I think they were from the ‘93 season from what I can find. They’re the Honda wing, with the “of Troy” underneath in the ragged font, fluorescent reddish pink like the 92 bikes. I have two of one side, and one of the other. Unfortunately the one I have one of, I stuck on my toolbox as a teenager, never thinking it would be something special one day. I should be able to remove it in one piece, very heavy mil sticker.. anyway, I’ve seen a lot of interest in these over the years, and have a good friend who does graphics/decals. I may reproduce some of them. The decals are at work, but I can upload pictures tomorrow if anyone shows interest. I did some searching online this evening, and can’t find one photo of a real team bike pre-94. I may have to dig out the early 90’s Dirt Bike mags to find one.. just let me know if you’re interested.

Yeah... work has been crazy, too much going on and I keep forgetting while there. I’ll get some pictures. It also seemed nobody was interested, you’re the first to reply. I’ll get the pictures next week.

If you reproduced a set or two on the heavy mil I'd be interested. Get time post a couple pics.

I’m going to have a good friend who does graphic design/decals look at making high quality reproductions of these, but if that doesn’t work out, does anyone here work in that field?

Yeah they do... sorry guys that it took so long to get pics. I’ll keep you posted on what I find out. In the meantime, if anyone has pictures of these decals on the race bikes, that would be cool to see. I didn’t find much in internet searches, and haven’t made time to dig through my 90’s MX magazines

Did you ever get these decals reproduced? If so, I might be interested in a set or two.

I’ve been meaning to address this... I found a shop that thinks they can do a good job with these, but it’s going to be about $20 per sticker, and probably going to take a few tries in the beginning to get the colors right. The original ones are super thick, and I’m probably not going to get quite that heavy of a mil sticker anywhere, but can get very close.. They think these were screen printed onto some heavy vinyl sheet, then adhesive applied. I want them to be very durable, which these should be, but they’re also going $50/pair or more to get that quality. It would be nice to make a few bucks off of them, but $50/ pair is pretty much breaking even with sticker cost, and running back and forth to graphics shop, and post office. I’ll need to see how many people are truly interested, then get the spec on the thickness of what the decals would be, etc. I want to make sure that everyone would know what they’re getting beforehand. I could do these cheap, but want them to be high quality, the real thing. I’ve heard a good bit of interest, if you’re going to willing to cough up at least $50 for a set, let me know. If theres enough who really want them, I’ll spend the money up front trying to get the colors perfect, etc. I’ll continue to be pretty busy, but will make an effort to get this started if I hear back from you guys.

Jim, you need to speak to Unbounded Designs. Check them out on Facebook, you won't get a more accurate replica anywhere else and they'll be a lot cheaper than what that company is trying to charge!

Sounds good Damien. I’m going to go with Chuck’s advice, and get in touch with the guys he suggested. I want these to be of nice quality, so going to work to get them right the first time around. I appreciate your patience, and that of everyone who has shown interest. Life has been extremely busy, but I’ll try to get something moving on these very soon.

Sorry to say, but no. Life has been very busy, and I haven’t gotten any further on them. I hope to soon, but that’s about it. I’m open to suggestions on reputable companies to duplicate them. They’re silkscreened onto really heavy mil clear plastic with an adhesive backing. Nobody I’ve spoke to about it yet can do them like original.

You might go ahead and send the pictures into throttle jockey. I know that they have the 94 graphics just like this.
