Hey guys going to start another KX build. Currently have a 05 KX 250 and just need some ideas so shoot me some photos or suggestions. Here’s the last bike I built

beautiful. i love white bikes. everyone does black, but i think white is better. i had a white cr125 back in the day. lots of good builds on here, take a look around

It’s just a raw frame with a clear matte powder coat

DrewJett What triple clamps are those? Look awesome!

I have a 250 project I am waiting to start early this year. Anyone have recommendations on forks (year/size) tend to be the best to run and service? Bike I bought previous team bike with 08 450 forks.

Thanks, a lot of work went into that bike and I'm still not finished. The clamps are the older style Xtrig and the forks are off a 2012 kx250f (SFF). I went with the 47mm forks because I got a pretty good deal on them. I picked up the forks from a local dirt track kid for $400 and they already had PC internals and had the correct spring rate for my weight. After doing some research I still sent the forks to PC and had them valved for a 2-stroked ($400 re-valve forks, oversized bladder on shock, spring and valve shock). Apparently 4-stroke forks are valved pretty stiff due engine braking and are pretty harsh in the upper portion of the stroke.

If your looking to buy triple clamps I would recommend buying a newer set of 48mm forks. I had a hell of a time finding a decent looking KXF clamp with an acceptable offset. I picked up my Xtrig clamps for $450 and that was way more then I wanted to spend but they look pretty sick.
