Im interested to see how the trax goes. At least that model of trax will fit on the 2019 chassis if you end up geting one.

Yeah when i got that confirmed i chose to buy the Trax shock. I will get a 2019 KTM, but i'm not sure what i'll get. It will be a 450 or a 250 2-stroke(if the 250 gets the new frame).

Any updates on feel compared to stock.
Nope, it's winter here and the closest indoor track is about 300 km away from my house so i haven't had time to test it yet. I'll have time to test it next week!

Do you have studded tires on your bike? If you need a place to test your bike I know a place near Seinäjoki where you can ride with studs

Yes i have, i just hate to ride MX with studded tires haha... The track in Vasa is in good condition but i really dislike to ride on tracks in the winter, i'll head out to Dynaset arena next week!

So i finally got to try the Trax shock with a brand new 48 spring. I was running 100mm of sag, 105 is recommended but i chose to run 100mm since the spring will break in after a few hours.

Conclusion? Absolutely a night and day difference. I rode at a really tight AX-style indoor track with dirt that is incredibly slick and hard packed with lots of small chop. The amount of traction that the Trax shock provided and bump absorption was on a whole new level compared to my modified stock shock.

It exceeded my expectations. I've read a lot about it not being a big upgrade on the stock shock so i wasn't expecting much. I was wrong, it was way better than what i thought. Or my MX-Tech modded shock is set up wrong.

I can't wait to try it on a real MX track.

I bought a set of the LE TLD plastics and graphics for a potential 125 build that is not going to happen so i decided to put the plastics on my 450.

It looks pretty cool. The black frame kind of ruins it for me though, it would look way better with an orange frame. But i don't have time to paint the frame, unfortunately.

And some of you can see that i have my stock AER forks on the bike. That is because the CV forklegs are in England and getting new coatings(not black DLC), stay tuned for that.

I feel you on the frame colour, would look 10x better with an orange frame. Jealous of your shock, clutch cover and triple clamps.. Silly

I got so lucky with the shock and the clutch cover! The Hinson cover is basically brand new and i paid 90€ for it!

I should've torn the bike apart in the winter and coated the frame but it's way too late for that now...

Man i just keep buying parts. I found a set of Excel A60/Talon Carbon fiber wheels for a relatively small amount of money. The rims are completely straight but like any used black rims not the prettiest. I do have to say that the carbon fiber hubs are very, very trick. It's actually the first time that i have seen these carbon hubs in real life

I'll fit a set of Moto-master discs on these. I'm tempted to get the 270mm front disc but that would be a problem if i need to swap the front wheel quickly. I would basically need 2 sets of 270mm discs. So i think i'm gonna go with the standard size.

Got my Moto-Master brake discs. I have always been a fan of their products. I went with the standard size.

I finally got my fork tubes! It took way longer than to get them because the company that handled them screwd up and coated the wrong color a few weeks ago. But now i got the right color!

I sent them to Shocktech in UK(https://www.shocktech.co.uk/). But i don't think they are the ones that actually did the coatings.

The price was 340€ with shipping.
