This is going to be a really quick build as I leave for pre season training in two weeks and my bike currently sits like this.

Picked up a couple of parts yesterday, a bunch of boring parts however there is a few things happening to this bike if everything works out. Airfilters, stock peg set, slave cylinder guard, frame guards, another set of 997 bars that I got from a friends new gasgas ($50!!), stock clutch cover as I could not get a hold of a CR22 Hinson cover in time.

Parts/Mods I have or am considering doing
-Öhlins cartridges, might buy the shock if I can't get happy with the stock shock.
-Engine is going to be stock
-Pro Circuit T-6 Euro Spec Full exhaust
-Xtrig Rocs if the budged allows it.
-Frame is going to be repainted black
-There might be some cerakote happening if I find can find the time (great idea to do this 2 weeks prior right?
-Plastics will be all black, all white OR a mix between the two
-Going to either replace stock rims/spokes with A60 & Haan combo or lower tier parts, last I checked the difference between the two was $90 so I might "have" to go with the A60 combo. Also already have a set of Haan wheels with A60 rims.

This is how the bike looked last season before I was smart enough to get rid of those air forks Wink

Bike should have been complete now however a wrong set of gaskets (dealers fault) pushed the engine rebuild to tomorrow, saturday. Just about every crucial part is at home now, a bit bummed to say coating aint happening due to loss of time. A few things like plastics, graphics, levers, tires will show up sometime next week. Meanwhile I rebuilt both brake calipers and the front brake master cylinder and showed some love to the pipe last night.

Some tire changing and she is done for practise. Plastics, graphics and some small goodies will be put on before mid April (season start). I do suggest that anyone with aluminium engine braces pick up a set of steel ones and compare!

Will post another photo of the complete bike later tonight or tomorrow.

Night and day difference, I mainly wanted to try the 997s due to my height (186 cm) since I felt a bit cramped at times with the stock bars. With that being said I will bring all sets of bars I have for the pre season testing to find what is the best allround for me. I have used 999s for 2 hours, great on tight hard pack tracks where you dont have to stand up much, as soon as I stood up it was awkward. I do roll the 997s back a little bit too.

The twinwalls are a bit more rigid but I dont find that it affects my riding.

Where are you riding? I assume not in Sweden, or are tracks in Skåne open?

Btw, the build looks nice! Thoughts about the PC exhaust compared to the stock?

A smashing amount of two tracks are open in Skåne! Winter has been tough, usually at this point I have 20 hours on the bike and now I have around 6 hours in 3 days.

The exhaust is actually insane, much more power everywhere.

Yeah not a single track in Finland is open at the moment, this winter sucks!

Plastics arrived a few days before I left for off season training in the south of Sweden, full Polisport kit + cycra stadium plate. A mix of black and white plastics, will look good!

If anyone are looking for plastics and want a full kit that is mixed in colours without having to buy piece by piece or two complete sets send mx-unlimited a message https://www.ebay.com/usr/mx-unlimited?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

Decided to go out of my way and repaint the detail parts of the cycra plate, used plasti dip.
