Honda Triplets build

Edited Date/Time 9/20/2018 3:32pm
We start with a worn torn 02 250. A used and abused 04 125 and a season of C class battled 17 450. Well herrr we go! My vision for these builds is try and keep most of the parts, colors, graphics and brands somewhat the same. this will be a slow and (for me) pricy build so settle down and buckle up.

Up first is a 2004 CR125r I bought for 700$ with some parts already put on but will come off for another frame off cleaning getting ready for a fresh engine.

Next is a battle beaten 2002 CR250 that I bought for 900$ and was supposed to be my one and only bike after I broke my back in 2013. I did a good build on it and rode it to death over the next 3 years. When the 2017 season came. I had a Choice to rebuild the CR 250 or to bite the bullet and grab a 2017 crf450 obviously in the Eyes of the two stroke cult...I sinned.

And last but not least is the best bike I’ve ever owned and ever ridden. 2017 crf450r. It already has a yoshi system while the 2 pokers will stay with Pro circuit. Bike is apart at the moment for some fresh suspension that can hold up to my fat ass.

Here’s the color scheme for the 3 bikes except with black fork guards. And obviously new seat covers.

I’ve gotten a bit farther on a couple of the bikes all have new plastics waiting for graphics that are on order. The crf got some new black d.i.d. Rims for her. And the cr250 engine is done!

Got the crf completely torn apart. Man after years of working on 2 strokes and my last 4 stroke being an 06 crf450 this 17 has more wiring harnesses and plugs than i know what to do with!! But got the frame clean and the engine a little shined up. Also got my graphics for all three bikes! One of my best friends cody definitely got the hook up for me

Holy smokes that is a lot of parts to keep track of at once!

I noticed that Hoosier MX tire in the background, have you gotten to try one yet?

Not yet hopefully Thursday I don’t expect it to last too long from what I’ve heard but still cool!

Keep getting a little farther on the 250 should be running soon. Just procrastinating on de-lacing the wheels stripping the powdercoat off the hubs and re powdercoating them, then building the wheels again:/
