I built this bike. It's an 06 credit 250 with a fresh 01 motor. Airstryker carb , trackside hand built exhaust and carbon silencer. B kit crf 250 forks and fox shock. Lots of other goodies. My problem is the kicker is a little worn and wants to hit the frame. Was gonna buy a new one but was wonder if a kicker from a newer bike would have more clearance . Any input would be appreciated.

Congrats on the awesome bike! I built one and overall it’s probably the best bike I’ve ever had.
You need to take and sand or shave the kick starter down just a bit and it will clear the frame. If it’s too worn I think that you can rebuild the pivot.

Nice bike. I did use a Dremel cut down the kicker. I will.look into rebuilding the kicker. It rubbed the powder coat but only a rub . I see after market kickers for about 80.00. Did you have any issues with yours? Thought the different motor may have changed position of kicker in frame.

I had no issues with mine rubbing after I modified the kick starter.
