Thanks! It's a 97 that had been in a basement since 99 so quite low hours. I have mostly went over the mechanical stuff. Found srs engine covers, head,
& piston. Got cyl ported, spes silencer, öhlins shock, boyesen reeds, hinson clutch, gruppi brake pedal, tecnosel seat and graphics. Also have an öhlins usd fork standing in the shed waiting for overhaul. It runs great and the color scheme makes it my favorite yz year.

Haha. Luckily this was when it was a mishmash of decals for the bikes. Otherwise my OCD would get the best of me. Laughing

Love it! But wait that's a different pipe in the latest pics?

Where did you find that front disc cover?

Thanks! Yes it is a different pipe. In the beginning I thought I could swap cylinders from an 86 to an 87.. not the case haha! I feel like an idiot but now I have a cool piece of wall art. Luckily I found an original pro circuit to complete the bike.

Great job on the build👍🏼👍🏼 Will you put it on the track or is it just a show piece?

Thank you. It's a show piece for now. I usually get tired of looking at the bikes I build after a year and then ride them. Haha.

It was a crazy one year powervalve design on the 86. It was a step backwards for sure. Haha
