Started my bike build project 3 years ago.
I’ve always been a Honda man, but have always loved the look of the factory Suzuki Rm 250’s even more so when that Fat number 4 appeared on them.
A quick search found a cheap 2006 Rm 250 that was pretty rough and neglected.
After tearing the bike down l soon discovered my budget for this build was blown. In hindsight l should of looked for something in better condition. I will go into detail later.
At this point l decided l would go all out and build something special.
It’s been 3 long years of having part’s cleaned, coated and waiting on oem back orders. The RM is finally ready to be reassembled.

Full engine kit
Chain adjusters
Sprocket bolts nuts
Front calliper mount
Triple clamps
Front axle pinch bolts
Clutch brake lever bracket bolts
Before the suspension was sent off l ordered a new compression adjuster bolt, as the blue anodising had faded and the high speed nut had been rounded off in places.
Even though it took 4 months on back order the results are well worth it.
Kashima coated fork tubes, shock body.
Ti Nitride coated fork legs, shock shaft.
Cerakoted fork lugs.
Factory connection bladder cap.
All other parts on shock were a mix of cerakote, powder coat and anodising.
