Any idea what that is inside the gas tank? I have a TY350 that the tanks are known to crack on and you can not buy a tank for them and trying to find a way to seal it from the inside.
Not sure if it was coated with something, I believe the tank was left full with fuel/premix and it mostly evaporated then was emptied some time later and they tried cleaning it out. The tank was nearly pure brown on the outside top to bottom and completely red with a layer of film inside???

The original owner said the bike was sitting for a dozen plus years in his garage when I picked it up.

My son and I had made massive progress in the last two weeks and are roughly 95% done with the build. We were able to take it to Anaheim-1 for the "Legends and Heroes" SX Tour display. The bike had fantastic feedback and comments from the folks checking it out and I am loving how it came out. Still looking for a set of original gold ProTaper bars and the OG pink bar pad that the Factory Suzuki team was running in (92).

I had some last minute help from Micah at Dirt Digits who was able to get me set up with repro stick and peel numbers and custom 90's stickers that my son and I were able to get put on late Friday night before A1 which was pretty stressful as we had one shot to get them on right.

This would not have been possible without the help of my son, one kick ass kid and mechanic! Thanks Bud Woohoo

Nice, do you have interest in selling it? I would love to fine a NOS but this would be better than what I have, which is nothing!

This build took a ton of time due to work and finding parts. I searched for nearly a year for a tank and bought 3 used to restore but they all had issues. Finally got fed up and ordered an aluminum tank from Anders at Factory Alu Parts and I swear not two weeks after it was ordered and paid for I found a NOS from the UK and grabbed it too. Now I have received the aluminum tank and ready to get it painted. Since I had spent the money to get an aluminum tank made I had Anders also make one for my 90 YZ-250.

Yea send me a message. Bloody RM tanks! I got lucky on my 91 125. Managed to get the snapped off bolt out with a left hand drill bit, previous owner left some marks in the tank from his failed attempts. I brought a damaged factory pipe a while back, then what do you know....a nos factory pipe comes up on ebay....

Great work! Have you fired it up?
Thank you. Yes, we have her fully rebuilt and running good. I have a Pro Circuit Works pipe to still adjust and put on along with another carb that is being soda blasted then we will do the final jetting.

Did you guys cut the silencer....it looks really short? I have a brand new (and old) Pro Circuit for my 92 RM125 and they are both way longer than yours. The bikes looks rad and yes you need some Pro Tapers to finish it.

What foot pegs did you use? They look good.
They are MSR pegs that you can find on eBay or through a distributor. I originally bought a set for my (92) RM-125 and I believe they will work from 86-92 125 & 250.

Yes sir, the pictures that I could find for Swink and Cooper's 92 RM 250's had shorter silencers so we made this one from a couple of PC silencers that I had. I still also have a new one that is full length with the correct end cap like your 125's.

What color is on your fork tubes?
The forks tubes are a brown, I believe the folks from EBR that did the suspension called it works brown. The lower tubes and shock shaft are DLC coated.
