86/7 Dr200 or 89 Lt250s (quadsport)

I'm looking into getting a cool winter project since the yz80 is done. I found a great deal on an 86 or 87 dr200 (offroad only model), but I also found a couple of lt250s' for sale. Which should I buy, the dr200 is 1k obo and all original, and the lt250s is 2 owner resto modded, and 1200obo. I love the Dr, as it would be moderately faster, and fine with the road (planning on going on and offroad, not far, just to a buddy who has 22 acres of trails to ride). I understand the lt250s is really rare (somehow found 3 1989's for sale that all look clean), and wouldn't be as "quick ?" as the Dr, but it would be better in these Indiana winters. (4 wheels vs 2). Opinions?
