Hello guys, here is my new bike ! After a year on a 350 FC, i wanted to go back to a 250 and felt in love with the yamaha trying my friend's one.
The best parts on the build are the Nihilo Carbon Airbox and the GET ECU, the dyno comparison is quite impressive (see below).
So here it is, my 250 YZF 2021:

The Shop
Tried the bike this Sunday, it is really an awesome bike ! Will ride again this week on a faster track.
To answer everyone:
- The skidplate from Pro carbon is awesome and the fit is perfect ! Great company, the fit was perfect on my 350 too ;
- The fork is OEM but anodized, i really like the result for only 110$. However it’s not near the real Kashima coated of the real kyb factory fork (i had it on the 350);
- The overall power gain is around +3,5 HP and +500 over-rev. By the way, it is an FMF pipe but the tuner welded a measuring tube in order to tune the GET ECU.
The color is really nice and cost me only a hundred bucks.
I could only ride the bike twice due to the horrible weather here but the bike is amazing compared to my 350.
- CMT carbon tank (just the cover) ;
- CMT carbon exhaust gard.
Nice quality but the photo really doesn’t do justice to the carbon tank, it really looks awesome and you can’t tell if it’s cover or the real tank.
And the exhaust gard fit really well (same as the OEM), really like it as it will save my Flexair pant from melting.
Anyway, after 3 months of solid rides with the bike, i can say it is the best bike i’ve own in terms of riding. She does everything so well and let you very confident anywhere !
I have no regrets switching to yamaha and going back to a 250F
