Over the last couple months I have been building up my FX350, not a lot of FX builds out there so why not post it up. I ride the western slope of Colorado desert, Moab area, and all the single track around Aspen. The scope of the build is an off road race bike, single track slayer and still be able to rip the track. Here is the day I got her and next to my 2015 FC 350.

Next step was plastics, Ktech fork insert revlaved by motovate racing, rear shock revalved with a Showa valve, Rekluse slave cylinder, skidplate and no toil cage less air filter.
I also experimented with the KTM front end plastics. Nah

How much did the K-tech kit run? I have been thinking about going that route as well.
Excited to see what you come up with, your old 350 was uber trick!

I actually didn’t buy them, my suspension guy had them in the shop and allowed me to use them until I did the fork upgrade I wanted, they probably are for sale if interested. They work pretty dang good! I was happy with them for sure!

I came up with something pretty trick! 🤦🏼‍♂️

I really love the Neken SFS air/spring triple clamp but really wanted to try out the Renthal R-works 36 fatbar, lucky for me Luxon Mx actually made a bar clamp for this set up.. IMO it’s a very awesome set up and works very well for me.

Titanium pro pegs, P3 carbon fiber ignition wire cover, Nihilo case guard, complete guts phantom seat, dirt tricks front sprocket washer, ARC memlon front brake/clutch lever and more titanium bolts.

Mind me asking what line of work you're in? Not only does it meet the monetary needs to fulfill these builds, but also the time. Love seeing all the trick bits you put on, Waveblaster looks sick as well!

I do some of the work but more often then not Motovate Racing makes her bad ass. My wife is very Dave Ramsey/ debt free so I have to finesse the purchases with wine. Also not having kiddos really helps with the builds.

The waveblaster is going to be neat as heck. Just like dirt bikes the jet ski market is out of control on what people are asking for them. I had to drive to Utah to get that gem at a fair price and it came with the very important “factory B pipe”. My wife has a pretty tricked out Kawasaki JS 550 but I am just too darn big for it sometimes.

Sounds like a sweet gig. Beautiful riding you have up there, I rode once in Crested Butte and it was unreal compared to Florida and the rest of the east coast.

Love the build! I’m also in Colorado and riding a TX300. Fwiw I could never get the stock shock to a point where it would not overheat and fade when hammering stuff on the western slope. Just fitted a traxx shock and looking forward to seeing how that does. Warp9 does titanium spokes. Dropping the rotational weight is awesome. Have not done it myself yet but did ride a friends bike that was so equipped.

I didn't think I would be saying this, but I think I love this build more than your teal 15.

Also, what brake tip is that? Looks nice and long. I hate how my 17 brake lever sits so tucked inside. Makes it awkward for my position.

Why did you switch the case guard back to stock from the Nihilo?

Sweet bike man, I have a 350XCF I started a build page for but have since fallen short of updates lol

What did you do the stock shock? Or just ran it? The traxx has got to be a huge upgrade.
I am very happy with my stock shock, Showa valve, PC full linkage, CSR spring for my weight and the Motovate racing revalve she is dang good for me.
I should have bought the Warp9 titanium spokes when I had the chance.. I can’t find them anywhere.

How often do you make it the western slope to ride? Let me know the next time and we will try to get a ride in.

Thank you! The ‘15 was a dang neat bike!! This ‘20 is a very impressive bike especially with all the goodies! 🤙🏻

It’s a clean speed extended brake tip. I tried to run the titanium brake tip from Motostuff but I felt one crash the tip would go through the case. So I kept searching and Rocky Mtn atv carried the clean speed one and it works f’ing awesome!!

I honestly couldn’t find a way not to pinch the gear position wire.... that’s why I have electrical tape on the wire now. It was a very nice piece and looked wayyy better than the stock one but I kept throwing FI light for the gear position wire because it was pinched. I may have the wire name wrong as well.

Thank you! Let’s see that XCF!

Thanks! I usually make it out 2-4 times a year. Will hit you up when I'm out that way next! My stock shock was all stock save a 1 step firmer spring. I actually liked the performance quite a lot, just had some issues with it getting really hot and fading.
