Let me know if you find anyone mate. The tps adjustment...basically ktm ship the bikes set lean so the emissions are better, my 19 250 came set at around 0.51volts. They should be 0.601volts but with the airbox opened up and an exhaust (both make the bike run leaner) you can go higher, most end up around 0.63volts. If you want one let me know, I've got two left.

What I sell is a harness so that you can measure the tps voltage and adjust this voltage by moving the tps, all you need extra is a multimeter. With my harness you use the bikes own 5v supply to the tps which in my opinion is best.
How much do you sell the harness for and do you ship to US?

Will your harness fit a 2017 350 SXF and do you ship to the US? If so what's your PayPal and I will send you some money.

I have also drilled my air box but I’m intrigued by the TPS being adjusted ? What does this do ?

My last bike was a 2016 ktm 250sxf with a high compression piston and that bike was absolutely rapid.

Bikes been running solid. Have about 16 hours on it now. Rode some off-road this weekend after the rain and hit LACR. After riding the Vital 250 shootout bikes I’m still very happy with my choice on the 350 and the bike set so far.

Since I have the old big axel forks, they are shorter then the new AER tubes. I’m running them flush with the clamps and 106-108 for a balanced feel.

The Yoshimura exhaust with the Twisted mapping is definitely a better feel then stock. Super responsive and smooth pull through the top where the stock set up felt like it hit a flat spot before the last few thousand RPMs

I had these foot pegs from an old bike done by MetalTek in Lake elisinore. They add the sharpe teeth to stock pegs for like $100.
I've had metaltek do three sets like that, love them.... Hey Joe quick question, on my 19 250sxf will there be much to gain adjusting the TPS with the bike in stock trim? If so what's the optimal setting?

I’ve never messed with the TPS, I let Twisted do my mapping and haven’t needed to go that TPS route.

All this rain in So Cal has made me so stoked on riding! Been hitting some off-road and sand tracks. Bikes almost at 20 hours. I have been getting a weird squeal from the clutch when it’s super hot and under heavy load. Never had that before on a KTM.

Two questions.... how tall are you and what bend are the handlebars? I am 6,0 and bought renthal 997 but they feel too tall...

Think the clutch noise has somethig to do with the extra shim/washer? Maybe taking up extra clearance when cold and then when it gets warm and expands due to the extra load of slipping the clutch in the woods?

No I don’t think it’s the washer because it only makes noise if I’m feathering it or slipping it. I’m running the same Maxima oil, same clutch basket and Hinson clutch plates. Could be that I am just over using the clutch on the 350 because I have the 125 and 250F style on my brain

Sorry I missed this... I’m 5,9 and run the same KTM bend but in a Renthal Fat bar. They have a softer flex then the stock KTM Neken bar. Everyone says the Pro taper Evo bar gives the most comfort, I might try a set.

Vortex EcU from Twisted. So far all his maps are awesome, more power, better connection and less engine braking on decel. I’ve been using his map 1 and 3 the most. I think 3 is very easy to ride.

I have my large axle cove valves on there. I need to keep them flush with the clamps and sag 106-107. The AER are much longer then my forks so I need this to keep the original bike balence.

I want to keep the engine stock so I get long term out of it. I’m going to mess with gearing I think. Might go up a tooth because some corners I can’t hold 3rd and end up shifting way more then I thought.
Joe, with the twisted ECU can you still use the OEM handlebar map switch and launch control?

Yeah it’s really cool. Jamie made it so you have 3 map options. 1, 2 and TC(it’s a 3rd map option). Makes it easier to try maps.

1 and 3 are always set and 2 is whatever you change the dial on the Vortex to. So that become 8 more options.

Started my 20 hour inspection, grease, new tires and getting the bike ready for spring race season. I notice my exhaust really close to the tire, must have been from my crash at world vets.
The hanger is superrr soft, I bent it back really easy with a crescent wrench.

I got my Vortex from them also. I haven’t a clue how it works yet. I’ll probably have to call them up when the time comes.

Yeah give them a ring. Did they send a sheet with it and instructions? The paper gives your an idea of what each of the 10 maps do. I’ve been very happy with maps 1-3.

Do the vortex instructions mention teaching the ecu the throttle (tps) and points? Always wondered how you do this as the motocross models don't have an ignition switch.

No you don’t need to set it.

I’ve seen him do it to my bike when I was with them at the track but he was plugged into the laptop.

The SX-F TC 250 & 350 used Y designhose for years. 2016-2018 went to single hoses and 2019s went back to the better Y design. We have them in Orange, Blue, Yellow and White.

My comment may have been read wrong. I received the hoses last Monday. It’s other things I’m waiting on for the build to start.

It’s only in hot situations, still happens. Same exact clutch and oil that was in my 2016, just put in new fibers and plates. I think I’m a clutch abuser, actually working on riding with the clutch so I don’t beat it up.

Love your bike builds Joe, especially your graphics. Question - Being in SoCal, have any Red Bull folks ever given you grief about the graphics?

I've heard of Red Bull people confiscating hats at outdoor nationals before, but this could have been hearsay. Just wondering if you've had any run-ins at races and stuff.

@ Lumpy790 - Do you run Moto Hose out of your house? That's super awesome if you do, I wish I had the foresight to get something going like that. I'm afraid I'll be working for the man the rest of my life!!!

Never had any problems with graphics, that seems crazy and doesn’t sound legal that they can take anything on the spot. Thanks for following the build!
