Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
Also stripped it down to save the works plastics and prep it for the first ride
Also got a ARC perch with memlon lever
Torched the header a little bit before putting it on the bike
Also saved my Hinson basket / cover from my 2017
Cycra power flow kit and Renthal bar pad finished up the rest of the build before the first ride
Took it out to ACP to break it in and ended up putting just one hour on it but right off the bat it's 10x better than my 2017
Currently waiting on a few more parts (Matching ARC front brake lever, Blue cv4 hose kit, and Raptor Ti pegs)
Need to figure out what to do with graphics and seat cover soon and will probably end up doing a Dubya wheel set and some works connection bling in the future once my wallet recovers a bit
The Shop
Matching Arc brake lever, Cv4 blue hose kit, raptor Ti pegs and the thing I'm most excited about the excel spoke torque wrench
Draining the coolant and doing my first oil change
Hoses are on
Not much size difference between the stock pegs and the raptors
Was so excited to get my new parts on I headed out in the morning to ACP again
I have fallen in love with the feel of these ARC memlon levers and will adding them to all my future builds
Hoses help bring the "factory" look I'm going for with this build
I really digging these Ti pegs as well. I've had flat pegs on my last few 450s and really bummed I didn't try these sooner
The header got a little more heat
First real rain in the deZ so we packed up and headed straight out to a corner track
It was a little wet out there... and unfortunately I blew my left fork seal third time on the bike (3.4 hours)
So the logical thing to do is pull all my stuff and have it valved for me
Suspension is going to Donny at the Pit enterprise in phoenix to get valved and rebuilt using all SKF seals and bushings
Thanks.
Works connection radiator braces, SKF low friction wheel bearing, seal and spacer kits
Thanks to Kris @ FCP Racing for the CNC hangers and Titanium mounts to help get some more flex
Pit Row
First day on the 2019 I was very happy with the stock fork setting, plush and the top of the stroke and stiffened up on the mid stroke for a way better overall feel. Handling wise it's night and day difference with the new frame, swingarm and shock setting. It'll handle chatter and stay inline on the entrance to ruts and I can ride the rear wheel way more on flat and dry corners. However the new bike did loose a little front end feel but I'm hoping the FCP mounts gets me the flex and feel I'm looking for. Motor wise I'm really happy with the new mapping that really smoothed out the bottom right off throttle and pulls all the way to the moon with no real big hit so I can get more power to the ground and flow more.
Also pulling off my stock motor mounts and hangers to try the new FCP set up
BLING
Also got my my radiator braces on
