2017 ttr125

Holes drilled in airbox, take out the spark arrestor insert from the muffler and rejet. I did this to my nephews drz125l and got a decent boost out of it. I actually mounted a spare 01 kx250 muffler on it and it fit with a simple spacer for the mount. Sounds awesome lol.

I am building a 2016 ttr125 right now actually. The best thing you can do for the money is cut the airbox. I cut the entire top piece out to make it flow better. I also went with a BBR intake. They flow much better. I put a kx65 carb on it and jetting it accordingly. More HP on the top end on the kx65 carb and the choke is on the carb instead of the cable setup. BBR chain guide is also a must buy for the TTR125 along with a IMS shifter (it eliminates the shifter linkage). If your ttr is 2008 or never you must buy the old style throttle and cable in order to use a kx65 carb. If you want i can post pictures of how i modified the airbox it's cleanly done. I had troubles with the stock carb but if yours runs well you can re-jet after you cut the airbox.
