I rode a 2017 TC 250 last year and loved the bike, but I thought I was going to give a 350 try just for fun. Well, when it came time for a new bike I couldn't get myself to make the jump and a local dealer was selling new 2017 250sx for $6000 OTD. Seemed super cheap to me especially because I sold my Husky for the same money with 50 hours on it. Here is the TC.
Anyway, enough about that. Going to take what I learned from the TC and apply it to this bike.
Upgrades that will be done now:
-Keihin 36mm carb with STIC Metering Block:
-IMS Big Tank with quick fill
-P3 Carbon Skid Plate
-Complete orange Acerbis Plastic kit
-Dirt Tricks Sprocket
-Vforce 4R Reeds cage
-DID ERT2 Gold Chain
-WP Cone Valve Forks
-Stock Top Triple Clamp off of 2015 model
-Full Hinson Clutch Set up
Ditching the stock Mikuni was one of the best upgrades I made to my last bike. Way more consistent with regards to changes in elevation and temperature. Haven't tried out the STIC yet but have read good things about it and have been wanting to give it a try for awhile. The other mods will make it work a lot better in the woods where this bike will spend most of its life. Anyway, the bike should be a ton of fun once its done and I am looking forward to putting in some serious hours on it once the snow melts.
Here is a few pictures of when I picked it up and where it sits now. Should be tearing into this weekend and should have it finished up here in just a little bit. Have some other mods planned for her but they will wait for a bit.

The STIC is legit.
