I've been continually updating my 2017 KTM 150 as things have worn and/or broken and I finally got around to getting new plastics and graphics so figured i'd finally make a thread to show her off. I am a 26 year old Upper C class Lower B Class rider and this is my 450f/250f fighter that I race in Michigan.

Here's the bike in March when I did the second Top end and Added an FMF Fatty and Powercore 2.1.

Here's how the bike started out this race season at around 58 hours

It's been one of the wettest springs on record in Michigan, and after Racing Red Bud Amateur day and having some muddy practices and motos, my bike was beat at around 71 Hours.

I took the whole bike apart and gave it a thorough clean, and also replaced the plastics and got new graphics from Decal Works. It's my first full set of custom graphics and I'm so happy with how they came out!

My Full list of upgrades since I got the bike in 17 are:
- Front and Rear Dunlop MX33 (soon to be Michelin Starcross 5 Softs)
- Vertex Piston and Rings
- Team TLD Black Seat Cover
- Domino Throttle Assembly and Tube
- Pro Taper Fuzion SX Race Bend Bars with ODI Lock On Grips
- Acerbis X Force Hand Guards (bad starts against 450s hurt)
- Works Connection Holeshot Device
- FMF Factory Fatty
- FMF Powercore 2.1 Shorty Silencer
- Ride Engineering Bar Clamps
- Pro Taper Chain and Sprockets (13/49)
- JP-Speed Fork and Shock Revalve yearly, updated to 2018 internals
- SDI Shock Reservoir

Next I plan to get new tires and V-Force Reeds.

Thanks For Reading!

Bike looks really nice!!!

Were the acerbis hand guards a good fit? I got some and they didn't fit well around the brake reservoir.
Then unrealized I could get OEM orange ones off the xc so I got them instead.

What fuel and jetting do you run? I've got the same setup

Thanks!

I go about 25-30 Hours a top end and they've both looked great each time i changed them.

The Acerbis hand guards fit decent once i got them figured out. I went back and forth on the mounts going over or under the levers and settled on over. I had to space them so that they went over a certain part of the lever otherwise it couldn't fully reset after it was pulled in and would rub. I have the guards tilted so they are just sitting above the levers now.

For Fuel and Jetting I run 93 octane with motorex 2T premix at 40:1.

Best jetting i've been able to get is:
Main: 490
Pilot: 42.5
Needle: (can't remember the full number but it's the leanest one KTM gives you)
Position: 2 (2nd from top)
Air Screw: Out 1-1.5 turns depending on temp.

It's not perfect but much better than it was stock. Eventually I'd like to maybe get a Keihin if i can find a deal.
