Do you have a “hot” setup for the Stock mikuni carb?
We are one leaner on pilot, two leaner needle and one richer on the main. It runs really well . VP T2 Fuel is really good.

Have you tried the pipes yet? I'm near sea level. My 18 has the v force, opened up air box, similar jetting changes,500 main 32.5 pilot,42/75 on 2nd, but also leaned my slide to about a 5.75 now. That alone really helped clean it up when coming out of hair pin turns. 110 octane sunuco. I also switched to Denso IWM27. The engine is potent and has me fighting for each holeshot now,,and also able to quickly get in/out of slippery hair pins with out abusing clutch.

I'm wondering if a pipe,,silencer,,,porting(by who?),,or head mod is next move.

Little update here. I did in fact get her all rebuilt , slapped in the high compression head insert and the new PWK 38mm with the STIC metering block. I got a couple short rides , on an incredibly crap track and it was hard to get a good feel for what the motor was doing. With the little bit of riding I got , it did feel like it had more grunt on the bottom and mid , but it also seemed to maybe fall off on the power a bit on the very top. Crab was set with a 195 main , 48 pilot. The bottom was rich off idle , so I swapped the pilot out with a 45. Riding tomorrow on a good track , and should know much more by tomorrow night.
