That's the problem, can't decide on color.

This is what the blue would look like on same color scheme shock he built...

Blue shaft. I’ve always had a preference for contrasting colors. It helps highlight areas you want noticed. Just an example.

I think the blue stands out a little better. I'd go with that if it was mine!

Do you have both or was that a pic from TT showing you the options?
The blue one does “pop” more because of the contrast in color. That is why I like the black of the DLC stuff Smile

If it was me I'd have to have black to match the DLC on the fork legs

He has both, so he sent a pic of both. He also had just a pic of a shock he built with blue with red spring in the past. I really like the blue, but I already have black dlc in front.

Think I'll just go black and never go back. Thanks gents!

Doing well. Dealing with the looney convention messing with traffic in Seattle but, riding has finally opened back up.
Looking forward to getting out in the next week or two after catching up at work. Have a happy Father’s Day!!

good choice on the DLC shaft - the TiNi wears super fast on shock shafts in my experience. Bike looks sweet, and Tom is a standup guy with amazing service and communication. Other engine builders should take a class from him on professionalism!

That's exactly what Stapes mentioned, and part of the reason I went with the black. Didn't want a gold spring, but it's not so bad.

Tom is awesome! Other builders should take notes. Fast and smooth!
