Travis is a beast. I know it freaked Tevin out for a split second. Kind of looks funny when someone is doing back flip next to you.

Should be proud of your creation bro. You got bike of the day, and your bike was in Red Bull Straight Rhythm. That's quite an accomplishment.

Tom is sending me a new top end, so thought I would share some pics of the cylinder why I have it apart. Ran great still, but 16hrs is far too much for single ring and racing with Tevin on it.

He is also blue printing my front brakes to maximize brake function.

Piston to caliper clearance
Piston taper and roundness
Piston seal ring tension
Brake pad flatness
Caliper to disc alignment
Caliper to guide pin fit
Master cylinder bleed back efficiency

Will report back on how that goes!

You ran a double ring piston with only a single ring in it?
Also is that the 68.50 piston or 72.00?
(One of those with the stroke increase gets you to 315 correct?)

Since the cylinder was made for a 295, I can only run a single ring. I think with the extra stroke 2mm down the bore, it might get caught up somewhere. Tom said it could be welded up to run two rings, but plan on going to 345cc when Tom is done testing that.

It's 72mm bore and 76mm stroke, which is actually like 309cc.

Ah got ya. Learn something new every day👍🏻
345, dang buddy! You should let Tapia try to ride it next year at MC like Alessi did on his ESR 345 this year... 😎

What is a rough cost to have him do the same engine package that you have? That cylinder is pure porn. Plan on doing a similar engine to what you have and doing a mod ktm 250sx engine in the spring!

He won't be riding my bike again. Very self centered, so I would just refuse if he wanted to. Never even said thanks for letting him borrow bike. Told me he wouldn't change graphics, did at last second and said he would replace them. Now he isn't even responding to me. If I ever did something like this, would take complete control of everything

Not exactly sure since I did 295 before. Would expect $2500+

It's all good, was a cool experience all in all. When I got bike back the front brake was nearly locked up from drag, and top end is toast. Tom sent me a free top end (Tom F'ing rocks) and is blue printing the brakes now!

Trying to figure out what else I want to do to this bike. YZ345 and A-kit comes to mind, but that's about it. Time to start a new project??

Sorry to hear that. Some of these kids blow me away with the entitlement. You are a privateer....you should go the extra mile for everything people do for you. Fucking babies piss me off.

He's just mad cause he couldn't ride YOUR BIKE to its full potential. 😉 Sorry to hear that bro.

That's a damn shame you were done that way. We now know his true character. Anyway...props to you for what you did, and what you continue to do.

Thanks guys, not really a big deal. Still have plans for bike. Besides Tom Morgan blue printing the brakes, will be doing YZ345 stroker later. It's just bigger bore, but Tom being insanely meticulous, the cases need to be modified for bigger piston. A-kit would be nice, so if someone see's a set for sell please let me know. Still a lot of things I want to do.

Thanks again to Billy at Luxon for helping me out. Thought for sure the new steering bearings were bad, but turned out it was just a little metal flakes. Billy is very helpful, and just an all around good guy.

And thanks to Tom for helping me so far. He sent me a new top end for free for getting him some extra business.

One more thing. I decided it would be smart to brand my creation(s). So you may see some more builds created by with the FVISSION Concepts graphics. Instagram is @fvission so will be posting once in awhile there.

Still waiting on the A-kit rear shock, so decided to buy some Flexx bars. I get arm pump from using weedeater, so this should help Smile

Also went with some new fork guard graphics and number plate.

Drooling over that suspension! Have you ridden it yet?
Sick build!
Thanks man!

I haven't ridden it yet, still waiting on the rear shock to be done. We were waiting on parts from Technical Touch Belgium, but they are in the states now.
