I was thinking about doing a sss swap with my 2005 yz125. Will the 450f and 250f triple clamps and forks bolt right on to the frame? If not which years are bolt on?

I believe the rear shock on the 2005 and 2006 are different correct? So if I do the swap to make it correct I’ll need the shock too.

Am I best off doing the swap or just getting the suspension valved for my weight, skill level, etc?

Honestly, I kept the stock forks on my 05. They are good once setup correctly by a good suspension tuner.

If you have an 05, then you don’t need to change clamps. The 06+ forks will fit right up into the stock 05 clamps

I think I am gonna go with a revalve. The only down fall I’m finding is I can’t find any hole shot devices for this year.

I'd just do new bushings/oil and run it. 05 forks are pretty good on 125s. Buy some extra pistons instead
