Decided to do a "small" refresh on my bike over the winter and it spiraled out of control a bit. Here is what the bike looked like when I picked it up last may as my first bike.
Some more photos of the teardown:
After a few months I started to order parts and actually had the bike mostly put back together until I saw a couple blackout builds on instagram and that's where things went wild...
Parts list:
Excel rims laced on stock hubs
Kyb psf1 forks
Crf450 triples
Tusk oversized front rotor
Vertex top end
Vforce 3 reeds
Galfer steel brake lines front and rear
all black rotor and caliper guards
Boysen clutch and ignition covers
Rekluse clutch basket
Hinson clutch plates
Polisport restyle kit
Tusk shift lever
Misc ref anodized tusk bits
IMS pegs
Protaper fat bars
Protaper clutch one brake levers
Protaper oversized bar mounts
All bearings replaced with Pivotworks
Motion pro clutch and throttle cables
Motoseat seat cover
Split design co graphics
Powdercoated frame, triples, swingarm, subframe
07' air boot
Ebay radiators
Replaces every seal and bearing in the bike
Rebuilt front/rear calipers and master cylinders
MCR is revalving the rear shock
Starcross 5 front and rear tires
Scalvini cone pipe
Tons of other misc parts to make this essentially a new bike
Once I get the shock back I should be able to get it fully assembled fairly quick, here is where I'm at right now.
