2003 Honda CRF450R build

Hey there, I’m looking to fully restore and customize my 03, I’m looking to upgrade everything on the bike, she bogged out on me last ride I’ve pulled the engine, opened it up to find the intake valve spring is off and the valve has hit the piston...it has a hot rods Stroker crankshaft assembly with 50 hours with no play.
So I’m wondering if anyone can help me out with what I should do at this point.

My thoughts:
510cc hot rods CP big bore Stroker rebuild kit
Hinson clutch
Fluidyne rads
Boyesson water pump
Hot cams stage 2 camshaft
Kibble white black diamond stainless steel valves
Is this a good setup for longevity?
Also thought about sending carb and brain box to Tokyo mods.

Eeeek. I dont know if i would go thru with all that. Find a super low hours 05-08 crf450 on cl for 25-3k and be ahead. Or a left over crf kx or rmz450 for 5-6k and itll be brand new

Its up to you man. If you plan on keeping the bike and never selling it sure go ahead and do whatever to it but if you plan on selling later on, its sort of a waste because it really would only be worth 1500 and loads of parts, time, etc doesnt make the price worth anymore than that because its still a 03’ 450r.

Since you said you “had” the money to buy a brand new bike, why not keep your 450r as a backup and find a newer 11-15’ 450r for about 38-4100 and upgrade it instead? It would benefit you more in the future and hold its value a bit stronger as well. Either way, you do you.

Thanks alec138 can tell me how the 11-15 models are more benefiting than the 03
Better frames, suspension, weigh less, fuel injection, wider parts selection, thinner feeling overall
