So I just picked up my new ride for enduro next year and she's a beaut! £2700 got me the bike, the talon wheelset, big IMS tank and some oem plastics, still bagged and wrapped from Honda.

Next to my YZ 125

Had to pull the 345's off..

My plans for the bike;

Next year it is going to be my enduro rig, so the big tank will be on most of the time (boo!), but I'm patiently awaiting the unveil of the 2018 Factory Honda graphics. Going to go this route, with the 2017-2018 Crf cycra stadium plate and front mudguard like a few people have already done on here. - I wear shift too, so minus the Red Bull helmet I'm going to look like an incredibly slow two stroke mounted Roczen wannabe with a PC pipe.

Which reminds me; are there any guides on restoring the PC works pipes? Not that mines in dreadful shape, but definitely needs a good clean up.

Once this is done, I'm going to start to collect for an all out '03 RC build for a display bike when I'm done using it. Yeah, it's the year he got beat.. But being an '03 bike along with the fact the 03 season was probably one of my favourite years to watch; Ryno vs Brownie vs GL and RC vs Kdub it just makes sense. Plus I was at zolder that year, so may get enough plastics to do a des nations build.

Already sourced myself the HRC transparent number plate, so that's the first one off the list.

Silencer; was thinking of picking up the scalvini and de-stickering for the HRC look? I was thinking it was the closest thing I could possibly get the real deal..?

Any other trick parts anyone can pass me information on would be appreciated Smile

Apologies for the pics, I buy too much bike/ car related stuff to get myself anything newer than my iphone 5s lol!

The best I’ve found for restoring the works pipe is WD-40, green Scotchbrite and elbow grease. Love these CR builds Cool

Hey guys,

Obviously a slow build, but want to keep the thread alive..

Been collecting parts:

HRC bar mount
Red anodised bits
'03 Woody Graphics

I picked up '17-18 Crf 450 front mudguard and Cycra stadium plate for a wonderful price, equivalent to $54

And a replica plasticwerks (ish) number plate from docwob, also for $54!

These will be paired up with replica HRC graphics (still a working progress) for racing this year:

Please can you guys give me some feedback on these? This is the third version I've got from the graphics company and I'm still picking at bits I want changed. I.E the 'Honda racing' logos on the side of the fender.

Also awaiting arrival of my motoseat, seatcover from the US:

Taken upon myself to make a few changes (obviously not complete):

Decided to add the black area, just to fill it out a little, as I think there's a bit too much red on the original graphics.

But I've now realised that I'm incapable of completing this (making the white/ blue strip area fit better) if anyone is a super photoshop user and can make this look a bit better I'd be incredibly grateful.

Also want to change the the angle of the HRC logo on the side panel so it's a bit more level.

I'm currently coming up with a template for the Cycra stadium plate (fork guard parts) so I can get graphics made up for these too, so they look more like the real deal:

Don't think it's been picked up yet, but take note of Roczens grips in that pic; medium compound renthal grips, with ultra tacky's over the top.. Huh

Shame Throttle Jockey didn't reply to me..

As the cheapest I can get any red anodised triple clamps works out to be $600, I'm considering getting the cast lines rubbed down on my original triple clamps and have them powder coated candy red, along with my stock hubs.

From the pics I've seen they look pretty sweet (especially if I pair them up with Ti bolts) and will do until I can find a set for cheaper:

Got an A kit suspension if you go that route, Ride engineering triple clamps, 2017 OEM brake rotors, 2012 OEM brake rotors, 2012 stock wheelset, WC Elite clutch perch setup. I'm sure I probably got more. Let me know if your interested in any of it.

Man, I'd love A kit suspension. Although, I don't think the lady would approve aha!

Interested in what I can realistically get shipped over..

So, (considering it's all black with the red adjuster wheel) how much for the WC elite?

How much for the triple clamps? (Considering they're red too)

Last of the parts, in the back of my van,
which I just have just overhauled and will upload 'Another moto vab' thread.

And finally, the completed bike;

Keen eyes will see I didn't tuck the side panel in properly when I fitted my seat back on. Blaming that on the fact I've got the flu..

Next plans will be to get my triple clamps powder coated cherry red, along with a few other parts like the hubs from my standard wheels.

Also, the big tank and hand guards will be on for my first race next weekend. Was hoping to put a few hours on it before then, but this flu has killed me for the last week.

The bike looks great. Always like a good van build so looking forward to seeing that too. TJ customer support isn’t the greatest in my experience.

Just tallied up the total for my budget build:

Renthal Twinwalls 75
Renthal Grips + Clean grips 12
HRC bar mount 80
Plastics 120
Graphics 125
Motoseat Seatcover 60

Thanks man, really appreciate it!

Yeah, no response to many emails. Still, I'll get two years with this set up and then they'll get my money when I go for the all out RC build.
