If your still asking suggestions regarding the Carb. I'm extremely pleased with the current setting on my PWK airstriker 38mm. You will lose some mid-range power so I retarded the powervalve to compensate and the bike rips. I also don't need to change the jetting mid afternoon or foul plugs like the stock carb did.

I know this appears to be a show bike, but drill holes in the airbox like Husky and KTM have. The bike is starving for air!
Well actually it’s going to be a race bike, but the question about the carburetor was which of the works carburetor should I run. From the dyno readings and talking to the guys who R&D the engine the Honda didn’t like running a 38mm carburetor, it like a 37, well really a 37x38mm carburetor. The stock Mikuni’s are hard to get the jetting right, but with the modified carburetor it was not as bad, plus I have all the set up sheet for each track so I have some good jetting specs to start with. The KHI carburetors work extremely well and according to Mitch Payton there probably the best carburetor made. So I probably going to try the 37mm KHI carburetors on it when we do some dyno testing.

Got my 2006 works Showa billet shock re-sprung and revalved, also had some 2020 works parts replaced internally . But need to get the spring refinished in either candy red or chrome red, like what they run now!

Updated to the compression adjuster mechanics , had to do some additional machining to make the newer works parts fit. Also added the latest works piston and valving again had to modify them to fit, wanted to change over to the new blue shaft but Showa did not make it in the size, and it would have been allot of work to make it fit right, plus I don’t think there would have been any noticeable gains!

They did have some variation but they got as high as 42-43 on the dyno, but what made it good was the powerband had some pretty good low to mid range for a 125. There Is a real good article in MXA on the Factory Connection bikes which ran the same engine. I’ll put a link up.

The thing about Matt is that not only does he have a beautiful collection of rare HRC parts, he actually rides these bikes in the dirt!

So I wanted to run the newer style HRC hubs, the Rear is made from a full billet and not forged but I like it better. So I had to cut a bit of material off the sprocket side of the hub. Well to be exact 3.50mm or if you prefer imperial .140 inches. Now I can build my rear wheel!

Here is another item that you guys might like, a very rare works part, but it’s off newer Works 450’s. But I think it will work really well in a 125. Works HRC gear drum!

Any cool stories how the heck you got all these parts? Lol
I would tell you but I would have to kill you!!!!!
Well I really don’t remember but some how I met Neil Prince., and some how we became pretty good buddy’s. So he was basically Team Honda Europe up to the end of 2009. He races for Honda alway back to 2000 On works bikes, so he had a ridiculous amount of works parts . Which I pretty much took everything he had from 2000-2009. On top of that I met allot of different people over the year and seemed to be finding allot of stuff. When I first started doing this, there were not allot of other people doing it, so the prices were really good on buying parts for the most part. But it seem everyone found out that these parts are out there and now guys are trying to make businesses out of buying and selling works parts. It’s so ridiculous. Now there are allot of counterfeit parts out there also. The prices have gone thru the roof. Kind of sad!

Actually it’s going to be a race bike, but yes I’m going to be putting some holes in the air box , probably 5 holes on each side, 1 1/4” in diameter also have screen placed behind them. The Honda’s are definitely starved for air.

So building the rear wheel now, I’m not a big fan of building wheels, I guess I could have taken it to a shop to do, but I wanted it prefect so, the only way to now for sure is to do it yourself!

I should be getting my shock spring back next week from the powder coating guy, so we will see how that turns out. Also hopefully next week I should see my cases back from getting the bung electron beam welded in for the gear sensor. After that we begin assembling the bottom end!

Kind of curious why you didn’t just buy a Pregio spring from Technical Touch, and have the exact spring they use instead of trying to match it?

Was told by Factory Connection it wouldn't fit on the works Shock, with the hardware that fits the works shock.

Those works pipes you have could you measure the header ID and the stinger ID pretty please?
The header ID and stringer ID will not do anything to help a stock or even highly modified CR125, a few reason, first the exhaust flange is completely different, so the pipe will not fit. The entire exhaust tract had been plugged up and remachined. Also that since this is a long Rod motor, all the port timing is totally different. So it would be like me giving you the information of a KTM and using it on a Yamaha. Does not help

Ill keep to the sidelines to peak in...
I don’t have the pipes in my possession right now, when I get them I will give you the information.

I'm curious what HRC inside information you've herd regarding the Pro Circuit Pipe. I currently run the FMF fatty, but was thinking of making a switch. Bike looks good so far!!
