Needed a good left side case and could not find a clean one. So bought another bike to scalp for parts. Should be easier going now. Should have the frame back from powder cote tomorrow so should get getting some where now.

Just neon green, not sure what brand it is. Pictures don't do it justice, it is bright to say the least.

As a massive fan of the 99-02 gen Kawasakis, I'm excited to see where this goes!

Don't forget to grease your linkage bearings and swingarm pivot bolt kids. Fought with this for the whole day. Resulted in loosing a frame and swingarm in the greater good of saving the motor off the donor bike. Tried everything else first, tapped it and tried pulling out with a slide hammer, heat, heat and soaked in penetrating lube , amazing how frozen these things can become.

Shame to lose a solid frame and swingarm. They're tough but i've never been beaten by one yet. Sideways in a hydraulic press always gets it out

Forgot to mention that was the first place I went with it. It was just making the frame flex under all the pressure. I was afraid of breaking the cases and stopped.

Yeah like I said cracked cases or whatever isn't a big deal I've got a complete motor and would just like a reference. I ordered a service manual for it but I'm better with visuals. This is how mine currently looks but I'm not the one who took it apart.

Might need a crank 😆 taking it to the machine shop this week to see if it's rebuildable. I think it will be but the threads on the primary drive are pretty messed up.

Yes, so far so good, have not mounted the top clamp in them or the forks yet.

my bike has a set of them on, they work fine and seem pretty decent quality. Previous owner had them on for 6 years and they held up great

Looks great man. I'm assembling the bottom end of mine now. Couple questions for you. Where did you get the bills pipe from? Got a link to the bar clamps?
