1995 KX250 completed

I picked up this ‘95 KX250 in 2016 as a project bike to keep me busy at home when I got laid off work. It was bagged out and a total roach. I spent 6 months stripping it down and rebuilding everything on the bike. The frame and swingarm were powder coated , Pro Action did the suspension , fresh top and bottom end in the engine. I got the oem ‘95 decals and seat cover from Evo-Mx in the U.K.
Finished it off with a Bud Racing/HGS pipe and silencer , twin wall renthal handlebars and Michelin tires.
I now have close to 35 hours on the bike and it’s been holding up nicely , still looks fresh once I give it a good detailed cleaning. I raced it in my local mx Vet class last year and managed third place overall for the series against a field of modern 450 four strokes and two stroke KTM’s/ YZ/ Husky’s.
Hoping to race it again this 2018 season and put a few more modern bikes to shame lol !

Love the mid 90s KXs. You're a better man than me, I'd be the guy on a new KTM 350 struggling to keep up.

The Nineties era kx’s are rad bikes , still competitive today at a club/vet level , this one has plenty of jam , it won’t hold back a 450 four stroke on a long straight but on a tight track corner to corner it will leave them behind !

You may want to check on the front brake hose being more secure. Something does not look right.

Looks like the part that holds the cable on the fork guard is mounted on the front number plate.

It’s a longer hose than stock that’s wgy it has the look that it’s not quite right. It’s actually a braided steel line that came included with the front calliper I bought from eBay. The original hose I had was no good so I used this one instead. It’s held up good so far and no problems.
