Hi guys. Ground up rebuild of my 1995 CR250 and obviously I’m finding the brakes just aren’t good enough. I’ve replaced the stock 95 front end with a 2012 CRF front end with clamps, forks, caliper and all that jazz and that has made a huge difference. The rear brake is a bit more complex, I’ve fitted braided lines at both ends but I can’t seem to find a set of brake pads that lasts or simply fall apart. Question is. Is there any other caliper options for a 95 CR250? Crf? Newer CR250? Aftermarket? Any help would be of help. Cheers guys. GB

Check out the facebook page ' CR250's 92-96 and CR125's 93-97' few guys on there have upgraded the rear brake systems.

Hey man, from my understanding if you get the rear caliper bracket off a 97/99 cr you can run the bigger later model rear rotor, and I’ve seen a few people put crf master cylinders on which eliminates the poxy remote resivor master cylinder. Surely performance would be better to. Hope this helps
