A couple weeks ago I was looking through Facebook Marketplace and ran across this. It was listed as a 1995 but I knew it was no newer than a 1994 after looking at the engine, the owner had it listed for $450, I made him an offer of $300 site unseen and he told me to come pick it up. After driving a couple hours to pick it up I'm actually pretty happy with my purchase. The ignition is bad and it has a piece missing from the case, it looks like someone the wrong type of puller on the flywheel and broke the case. I had to cut the flywheel off due to some idiot screwing up the threads in the fly wheel. The bike is now tore apart down to the frame and it will soon be off to powder coating. I plan on putting a small tank and possibly a 19" rim on it. I would like to make it into a CR since they didn't import them into the US, only WXC and WXE. It should be a pretty cool bike when all is said and done. I'm hopeful to have it done by vintage days this year.

The facebook group "Cagiva WMX" will be your main source for parts on these, I'm doing a 1991 CR125 as week speak Smile

Way cool.. Proud owner of a 1993 WXC 360 here.. Such an amazing woods bike.. The dynoport pipe gives it even more bottom end to just lug in 3rd for days without stalling. Ignitions on these bikes were known to go bad - replaced mine with a PVL ignition

Attending my first Mid-Ohio VMD this year - I'll look for ya!

I actually just got a used Dynoport pipe for mine. I found a couple ignitions for it as well, I'm getting ready to order one now.

Hpi ignitions offer a great priced replacement ignition for these era husky’s

This is my $30 Dynoport pipe, has a few dings but it will clean up nicely. I started assembling the bike over the weekend. I'm waiting on parts for the engine. Athena has gaskets, seals and main bearing for the engine. I am going to order a HPI ignition and a new piston. I also ordered a smaller CR tank, I think it will look a lot better than the big tank that was on it.

Parts are starting to roll in for this thing. New seat cover, handlebar mounts, bars, engine gasket kit, and a smaller gas tank. I will be tearing the engine apart in the next couple days, I have to send the crank off to have the threads repairs and have the case welded.

Slowly making progress on the bike. I've ordered pretty much everything for the chassis. All I have left to order for the motor is an ignition and then send the crank off to have the threads fixed. So far I've removed the steering lock and kick stand, rebuilt the forks, all new bearings, CR fuel tank, 1 1/8" handle bars, new fenders, and cleaned all the black and yellow paint off the bike.

Getting closer to riding this thing. Engine cases should be here today, after they show up I'm going to split the cases and send the crank off to have the threads fixed. After I have the engine assembled all I will need is an ignition.

Looks like you have an SX200 as well.

Same setup in bikes, what a coincidence!

Let me know if you need parts Smile

It's a 2002 SX 125, I had a SX 200 a few years ago.

I got a free husky wxc 125. Not sure what year. It needs a rod and many other parts know where I can get some? Mine came with a Dyno port pipe so that’s cool atleast

The engine is going to look pretty cool with black cases and natural cylinder. I sent the crank off a couple days ago to have the threads repaired and I ordered an ignition. I found a Dynoport silencer for it too. Getting close to being able to take a ride.

Made another purchase yesterday evening. 1992 KTM 125, paid $100 for it. It's pretty complete except for the plastic. This will be the next project on the list, which means the Camaro will be put on the back burner again.

Great find on the KTM....ask away if you have any questions. I’ve been through these KTM 125s and have lots of parts or can tell you where to get anything.

I appreciate the help, I'll probably need it. I've actually been looking at your build thread, I might try and make my bike with the red seat and the 1990 graphics. I'm not a fan of the mint green.

It's pretty much finished. Just a couple more pieces then it will be off to tuning the bike. I had an issue with the HPI ignition that I purchased, I purchased one that was listed for a 1991 125 Husky but it apparently has a different flywheel. I checked the part numbers for the crank and cases before I ordered it but it didn't work. I took the ignition out of the KTM 125 that I purchased and it fit. I have now ordered the correct HPI flywheel, but since I'm inpatient I installed the KTM's ignition in the bike so I can fire it up. I also have to fix the broken chain adjusters and put the chain on. Hopefully I can take a ride on it around the yard this week. Friday I will be off to Vintage Days looking for parts for the KTM.

I had the Husky out at a local vintage race over the weekend. It was HOT and the bike ran great. I took a little getting used to, been about a year since I had ridden a 125.

So a little update on the bike. I traded it off a few months ago but I know have it back. I have recently purchased a new Dynoport pipe to replace the beat up one that was on it. I have also came across a couple fabric Renthal bar pads, I think I will be putting the yellow one on the bike. I have ordered a new set of bar mounts to switch it back to 7/8" bars. I want to make the bike a period correct as possible, plus I like the look of a crossbar better than the non-braced 1 1/8".

Does any one know if there every was a wrench report or a technical bulletin issued for these bikes? I want to do something to it to try to make it run a little better but I'm not sure what to do.
