Yeah no probs mate the cylinder and swing arm were both vapour blasted and I didn't have to do anything else to the cylinder but as you can see the swing arm was in really bad shape with quite deep pitting and the only way I could fix it is as follows.
1.battery powered angle grinder with a half used flapper disc
2 poly flap disc on grinder
3. think it was 1000 grade sand paper in a up and down motion
4.wet and dry sand paper
5.Scotchbrite in up and down motion
Some people may not agree with the method but it was the only way of getting it the way it is now

Wow!!! That yellow looks sweeeeet!!! Hey i know you said the yellow plastics arent really available any more but might there still be some out there? If so how would i be able to search for them?
If i do a bike like this id love to find some of those yellow plastics and do a MC 95/96 graphics with yellow instead of where the red is i think it would look incredible!!!

Just a note. Looking at those pictures I believe you have the chain rollers backwards. The large one goes up top and the small one below. I just made the same mistake on my 88' build. I saw in the FSM they are mounted the other way.

Best bet would to start searching Ebay and vintage bike ads and even vintage fb pages the hard one to find is the rear fender.
